There’s no need to turn to dangerous subterfuges because, according to a scientific study, four cloves of garlic a day for three months is a valid natural alternative to Viagra for men of a certain age. This is the affirmation made recently by Coldiretti, which was also taken up by British news, causing a 32% increase in garlic sales in Great Britain. News that will also hopefully block the repetition of such episodes as that of a woman in Frosinone (Italy) who dissolved Viagra pills in her husband’s wine unbeknownst to him, thus provoking a heart attack.
Coldiretti had stated that, garlic, with a consumption of 50 million kilos in Italy, is, in fact, a component often used in many dishes. And it can be prepared in these dishes without causing any useless health risks, while simultaneously offering the possibility of a natural aphrodisiacal effect. Among other things, traditional Italian garlic varieties are already well known and much appreciated in the rest of the world and are often a much sought after condiment. There is the red garlic of Sulmona and Polesine, white garlic from Vessalico, from Ufita, Molino dei Torti, Resia, Massa Carrara, and, more red garlic from Castelliri, Nubia, Procedo, Maremma and Monticelli. And these are just a few that can be found throughout Italy, Coldiretti also pointed out that garlic has a long history of being used for medicinal purposes: to cure headaches, cardiovascular problems, and, above all, as an intestinal disinfectant because it is an efficient antibacterial agent.
Coldiretti concluded with advice on how to properly use garlic for its curative purposes. It is best to use fresh, local garlic that has not undergone long periods of transportation like those that come from China, Egypt, and Turkey. These countries actually represent more than half of the total garlic importation to Italy, reaching a total of 25 million kilos.

The right kind of diet is said to have a beneficial effect on the health of men. Some of the foods that would promote good health in men are the following
Vegetables like tomatoes, carrot, garlic and whole green are said to be health boosters while the non-vegetarian food like oysters, shrimps and deep sea fish has the similar effect on men.
Tomatoes aid in the digestion of proteins and nutrients and also help in secretion of gastric acid. The vitamin C present in this vegetable helps to maintain a healthy artery. The beta carotene in carrot triggers an active immunity and stops the formation of free radicals. Besides, potassium in carrots helps to bring down blood pressure. Garlic is one of the vegetables rich in anti oxidant. It also has anti-cancer properties which augments resistance and immunity. Oranges, cauliflower are said to be an excellent source of Vitamin C which is good for sperm and are said to be stress busters.
Zinc which is known to increase semen production is found abundantly in sea food like oysters, shrimps and crabs. The omega -3 fatty, acids in deep sea fish helps to maintain a good cardiovascular health. In the beverages section, green tea is considered much better than black tea. This has vitamin C which is good against cold and cough. It also aids in bringing down the blood pressure. Red wine is said to prevent dementia and arteriosclerosis.

Diets exist because there are fat men and women that are not happy with their look or silhouette. That is why they, eventually and with enthusiasm, go trough the sacrifice of making a diet, some of them really brutal. The reasons are vanity in most of the cases, although it could also be for aesthetic, physical or mental health, or couple-related reasons. Awards for these escapes to the abstinence and moderation world don’t come immediately. They start with your belt, when you verify that you can fit your belt a little more. A week after you start your diet, when you are about to send it to hell, you notice you need a smaller belt.
The next stimulus is your shirt. Instead of that bulk you are used to notice on your belly, with lots of wrinkles in the same level, your shirt stays smooth and in place. Few things are most satisfactory than changing your clothes size to a smaller one. Most fat people have in their closet clothes of 3 or 4 different sizes. Every time they go out to a party or meeting they get distressed trying a lot of clothes that don’t fit them, but they don’t dare to give it because they know after the next diet (because there is always a next diet) they will be able to wear them.
I have tried almost all diets. The only ones that work are those given by nutritionists which consist on ingesting fewer calories than those the body burns. From all the other diets, I have tried the one that simply recommends eating less and joying more (joy=sex). It has two disadvantages though. The first is that it opens the appetite. The second, the worst, is that if you are too fat there are not many volunteers to joy with enough frequency. That’s why it’s better to follow a no-carbohydrates diet before starting with this one.
When you get the first 22-33 pounds weight loss, it will be easier to find someone to joy with, and the options to continue with it seem to be unlimited. The bad thing about diets and everything else is that if you don’t continue with them, the process goes back, inevitably. Our silhouettes tend to be like the one of our parents or grandparents, and if you insist on defying this genetic imperative, you can end up as an anorexic or another similar health problem.
It’s better to be fat even if your clothes don’t fit and don’t have much joy, but without exaggerating. The point is: have a diet from time to time.
