Cheap, expensive anti-aging creams have same effect, study says

Toronto - Consumer Reports magazine is debunking the so-called scientific claims about the effectiveness of anti-aging creams.
In Toronto’s trendy Yorkville area, women aren’t surprised by the results of the study.
Over a 12-week period a wide range of anti-aging products were tested. The magazine found that no matter how expensive or what results the products claim results are minimal - barely visible to the naked eye. The report sys a cheaper $19 drugstore version of a cream could do the same job as a pricier version.
On Cumberland Avenue, passerby Arlene tells 680News reporter Jaime Pulfer that she never uses the products.
“I don’t use the creams at all…I grew up with nothing so I use nothing,” she said.
Arlene has the face of a 30-year-old but she’s in her fifties. She says she does it by exercising, staying out of the sun, drinking lots of water and not smoking.
